Thinking of spraying the chrome part of the grille black. Anyone with pics please?

Beeson, the previous attached post showing the Blacked out Chrome was also a Post on this Forum, it creates a very nice effect IMHO. What may be interesting to you is the “Foiling” technique which is very popular in the US on their Custom Cars. This post might help, take a look at the posts on it - Dave

Or you could go this way with Hydrocarbon Finish which gives a very effect finish on these Big US Motors
