Should the door locking button located on the drivers door be illuminated at night?. It took me ages to find it fiddling about at night and I am sure it will turn the wife into a nervous wreck if she cannot see the button to lock it driving around town.
Is there a way to auto lock the doors after you start driving?

The only button that lights up on mine is the drivers window. I assume that's correct, but not 100%.
Not sure about auto locks, but I'm sure someone will be along who knows. Personally I don't like that feature.

Well, there's a way to autolock. I've been using it for more than a year. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Sh ... 4c4dPJylLf
It has another bonus. If you open a door the emergency lights will flash in sequence. One at a time.
Agreed, but it’s non standard, you have to hack the cars electrics using third party hardware.chosan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 6:37 pmWell, there's a way to autolock. I've been using it for more than a year. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-Sh ... 4c4dPJylLf

You have to hack??????????? Just fit in the OBD-socket and that's it. Be glad someone improved on Nissan's shortcoming.gvmdaddy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 7:43 pmAgreed, but it’s non standard, you have to hack the cars electrics using third party hardware.chosan wrote: ↑Thu Jan 17, 2019 6:37 pmWell, there's a way to autolock. I wonder if auto (speed) locking is now standard on J11B QQ's.
Odd Nissan never withdrew feature on the premium INFINITI brand, made on adjacent line at Sunderland. I've got the AliExpress product too.

Unfortunately no, I was trying to find a way to activate auto lock but no. It's written on manual as well. For security reasons there is no auto lock function.... There seem to be some odb modules that do that job though.
