Welcome to this forum.
Check out the current brochure at nissan.co.uk - they're selling the Tekna+ with that as standard now.

laqhsaq, I took a closer look around the Tekna + Sport / Dynamic Paket here last week and definitely the Quality of the previous Surface Finish of these Trims has improved from the Matt Plastic Effect to Colored Smooth / Glossy. I am sure the new owners would agree. If you re-Spray you will get the color but still most likely have the Matt effect, not smooth. But if you like that then give it a go ! - Dave

been advised if the plastic is not smooth, it wouldnt look right due to the texture, seems it wont be happening. any thoughts would be good though

Laqhsaq, if you just want to spray over the Trim as is supplied it can be done but as stated the difference will be a Sprayed Smooth Body Surface compared to the Trim with a textured surface. To rework this would be a long job, the Trim surface finish is not that bad when you look at it but it will just not look or compare to rest of the Sprayed Bodywork - Dave
This is a pic of the FS Wheel Arch (5 years old) and still Textured :

Any decent paint sprayer will be able to prime then paint them smooth. Had it done on a Focus myself.
