Driver door lock
I have a 2008 Qashqai. My driver's door shuts but not properly. The car locks with no problem. This week, however, every time I go around a left hand bend the door light comes on/goes off and the door makes the sound of unlocking/locking. The door doesn't open (and I have tried pushing from the inside to check whether it would open). It's obviously something to do with the forces around the bend pulling the door...but why isn't it shutting properly in the first place? I have tried WD40 on the mechanism and it's made no difference. Does anyone know whether I will have to strip down the door to check the locking mechanism and if so, what am i looking for or whether it is something to do with hinges...thank you...

Haven't heard of that one before.
It does suggest something's come adrift or loose or maladjusted in some way.
