Hello
Does anyone know how much higher the 2nd row seats are than the driver and passenger seats in the X-Trail ?
I am guessing the Qashkai ones aren't higher?

Having test driven both recently and done a week in Colorado in a Rogue (X-trail to us) I didn't notice any difference in height

I hired an X-Trail in Australia in April and it seemed very similar inside to the Qashqai - although I didn't actually sit in the back.
Do you think they might be different?

Yes, I read a review on Topgear.com and it mentioned the 2nd row sat 'much higher' that the front row. And when we test drove a X-trail at the weekend, my daughter (4yrs old) felt she could see a lot as she was up high. However, we have bought a Qashqai. I was just hoping someone would say it is only a centimetre so that I don't have too much buyers remorse!!

The wording is:
With that high roofline and extra girth over a Qashqai, it looks nice and commodious. And for the most part it is, though the rear headroom isn’t quite as capacious as the roofline suggests. The panoramic glass roof doesn’t help, but rear-seat passengers at least sit much higher than those in front, affording them a great view through the windscreen. Spend a few hundred Pounds and you’ll get a third row of seats, while the boot floor flips and folds into many different positions, underneath which sits a bonus storage area.
... and yes, it IS higher - never realised that!

This is the one I hired
Didn't seem much different to the Qashqai - but must have been!

Took my 4yr old to bring my attention to it - I guess how much of the world you can see through her eyes makes all the difference! Oh well, it wasn't worth spending another $7,000 on to get the X-trail!!! She will grow that 120mm in no time! Thanks for finding the measurements for me. It was what I had in mind, though a side profile disected of the two would have really satisfied my anal thinking!!!!!

It would have satisfied mine too - and potentially I could find one of each in Autocar - just tell me the dates please...

Hi. Sorry for the delay. Qashqai is 2016 and the X-Trail 2017....gloucester wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 4:32 pm It would have satisfied mine too - and potentially I could find one of each in Autocar - just tell me the dates please...
