Hello anyone else have the parcel shelf keep dropping off the rear mountings whilst driving for no reason at all , car is a 2018 model love the car but this is annoying

I must admit the shelf is a bit poor and the method of attachment is dodgy. On the day I took delivery of my car this shelf came off and is stored in the roof of my garage where it will stay until I part with the car. I fold down the rear seats often and find it gets in the way too much for me. My QQ as well as the last few cars I've owned have privacy glass and although it doesn't completely stop you seeing in the back from outside, it does help a lot. I know that on some older large estate cars I've had this shelf used to reduce the noise from the back but I wouldn't have thought it would make any difference on this car, but I stand to be corrected on this.

Pleased to see I am not the only one with a 68/9 plate Tekna with a poor fitting parcel shelf .
Every time I open the boot it falls off at the back edge.
What a cheap shoddy item to put on such a great car.

Is there any damage at the rear of the form for example - Dave
