Rear bumper scratch

Hi all, I closed the tailgate of my QQ on a protruding item and scratched the painted (plastic) bumper. Any ideas approximate cost for a bumper respray by dealer ( I assume the entire bumper would need painted to avoid masking lines ) ?

Kezzaa, Out here we have the so called “Lack Doctors” which are the Guys that do Paint Work and have a Fixed Workshop or are Mobile. They do a good job and will do local resprays which is what you are after. They do good paint matching and normally a good quick job and naturally cheaper than the Bigger Spray Shops who will want to do the complete Bumper. I have used them twice here on a Metallic Audi A6 and the finished job was excellent. Do you have a photo ?
You have them also so take a look in the Websites Locally or Tel. book I am sure you will find them or it’s a DIY Job which will be not so pleasing - Best of Luck Dave

A friend of mine badly scratched her bumper getting the car out of the garage. She had it done at a local repair specialist - absolutely undetectable! I think it was £120. And it was metallic orange so presumably not an easy job.

Then she did the same again....

Small scratch but major annoyance - it’s a lease car so reluctant to consider a repair they could deem not up to standard . If it was my car I’d just leave it.

Kezzaa, I am not sure how your Leasing Co. would react but this is another option. I had this one installed on our new QQ, yes it was €75 but it is well made and went over the radius. It is just an idea and if you look around for example on Aliexpress there are more and these are the Cheapies with varying designs, just an example in $‘s and to give you an idea - Dave

Good thinking ‘outside the box’ Dave - but I can’t help but think Lease companies are wise to the ways folks try and disguise damage
