Self lowering driver seat

Hi, I have qashqai j11 2015 with a strange issue. My driver seat (manual) is self lowering. I have to pump it up regularly every 2-3 days or at least once if I’m in a long journey for at least 3 hours. Anyone knows if this is normal?

I have a RAC warranty to the car - would that cover that fault? Never used that before - not sure even how it works

You mentioned it’s a Manual Operation so it would appear there is some wear. As it is a lever operated system to pump up or down, is it a mechanical or valve / piston type operation - leaking or wear ! It might be worth asking a Nissan Dealer or Seat Repairer Outfit that do recovering work as they strip Seats regularly, just a suggestion - Dave
