Help diagnosing random intermittent juddering and dealer has no idea what's causing it

We have a 2014 DCI Acenta Premium diesel automatic, which we bought second hand in June 2017. Soon after we bought it we started to feel a strange intermittent engine judder. There was no consistent reason or time that it happened - not because the engine was cold or anything like that. The most consistent thing was that it seemed to happen around 40 mph, and that it seemed that revving hard would make it stop for a while. But sometimes it was when the engine was cold, other times when it had been used already, sometimes in traffic going slowly, other times at higher speed, sometimes hills, sometimes flat etc. We took it to the local garage who replaced the battery but when that didn't work they said to take it to the dealer. The dealer recommended replacing the fuel filter, which we did. No improvement. The judder didn't really cause any problems, so we ignored it until the air con failed and we had it in at the dealer anyway, so we asked them to have another look. They couldn't find anything other than the air con condenser that needed replacing. We then started having problems with the remote keys failing. Replaced the batteries (in both keys), worked again for a while, then stopped working again (getting 'no key recognised' error messages and couldn't open car doors). Judder still causing problems. Then started getting an intermittent 'auto stop start' error which resulted in the car just randomly stopping on occasions when driving. Back to the dealer who said there were a few faults showing, and said they'd try replacing the glow plugs to begin with. Auto stop start working better but judder getting worse and some journeys it feels like its about to stall all the time (the fault seems to be based on the journey, nothing else- some journeys are terrible, others are fine). Back to dealer who then replaced the EGR valve. No improvement whatsoever. Now getting hugely expensive and really fed up. Car still juddering completely randomly, sometimes very badly, but other times running beautifully. Keys still randomly failing. We also have a random intermittent tyre sensor error. The only thing I have noticed has improved things was that it seems to run better when the tank has been filled up. Otherwise can't work out what causes the problem. Can anyone shed any light on this? Its costing us a fortune and still isn't working properly. Really fed up and can't afford to keep giving money to the dealer as they only seem to use the fault codes which clearly isn't helping. Thanks

this rings a bell with me but from the Juke forum.
Does the judder occur at 1500rpm ??
That's certainly a "known" thing on the 1.5DCI

1. - sorry, no idea but I guess not as the auto gearbox would change down
2. - change down a gear (or two) before accelerating

I would be thinking of misfire type issues. Try a fuel system cleaner for £15 it might be all you need.
