Service Indicator

Hi, have a 1.2t 2018 model does it have service indicator at all I didn't think it did ? We lease the car fully maintained and the lease car firm said they would only approve the service if service indicator came on ? I believe the service interval is 12months or 10k miles the car was registered in April 18 so coming up to it.

Edit : I think I might be wrong and it does have one, is there anyway to see how close the car thinks next service is ?

Yes it has. Not sure after how many miles it pops up though.

It's just in the settings though isn't it, so you can change it yourself to whatever you want to make it pop up?

Oh - and any popup would definitely would only be miles related. If you do low mileage you'll never get it popping up based on "12 months", for that you just have to go off the date of the last service/registration. So I can't see how they can be asking for it to be shown if it's due to the time?

And the warranty will be void if it's not serviced as per the schedule.

As the service indicator can be reset by anyone at anytime, the only real way to keep it on schedule is by using the date or milage from the previous services.
