Hi all I have a 2017 nissan qashqai petrol. It has had light frontal impact. I am using a scanner to scan for the ecu and it won't detect it. Have checked all fuses under engine bay and interior fuses. Any recommendations ? There is no power going to ECU. Wires have been checked of what is visible.
Yes the ignition comes on and it doesn't try to start. The diagnostic scanner will find all other modules but won't find the ecu. My last qashqai had the same issue which turned out to be a fuse. This one isn't the same case

What are you expecting to find as regards the Scanner....DTCs?
I don't have accurate diagrams as regards this topic...what I see generally is IDPM, Power feed and relay candidate problems. Some harness checks under standard diagnostics.

I was hoping to alteast be able to find the Ecu to know there is power comming to it. Do you have an idea of which relays I should be checking ?
No accurate info I'm afraid as much of it is engine specific I think. Someone else on this site might....at some point?
