So i have a 2011 1.5 qashqai and i thought had correctly diagnosed as injector failure. Had all 4 tested and was told had all failed(by bosch)
Just fitted some 2nd hand units and coded them in and the car runs the same. Noisy injector style knock/ticking
Is their likely to be a fuel pump issue? Ive no error codes in system.
Im wondering if atill a fuel issue or timing jumped/bottom end knocked out?
Car does drive but not fully powered and no smoke

Welcome to this forum. That's FAR beyond my technical expertise but hopefully someone will be along shortly to discuss.

When you coded the injectors in did you code them in correctly as number 1 is gearbox side and number 4 is timing belt side on the 1.5 dci, fuel pumps are preety strong on these engines and they are 3 phase pumps so timing them isnt critical but cam and crank timing is. But youd get fault codes for correlation if it was out. Theres also the possibility you have one or more second hand units faulty. These are piezo injectors on this engine and they do fail. Not sure if you are aware but nissan actually supply reconditioned injectors for this engine and they are often cheaper than the motor factors reconditioned ones.
