Hi all,
I have a 2012 Qashqai+2 1.4 Diesel .
MY DPF was well and truly blocked (causing the Engine Management light to come on).
So I bought a new DPF and had my local garage (whom I have used for years) fit it.
It was fine for about a month and then the light came on again. The garage looked at it and sure enough the code was DPF. He tried to initiate a regen via his computer and it went 3/4 of the way through and then stopped with Regen Failed. So he manually cleaned out the DPF, refitted it and it was fine for about another month until the light came on again.
I might add that when this happens the car is a struggle to drive - It is lacking power and it can just about hold 60mph but feels like it's "Pulling back".
My mechanic is at a loss as to what is causing this (and what caused a brand new DPF to block after a month).
Does anyone have any ideas at all please ?
Thank you in advance for any help.

Sounds like you have an issue blocking the dpf, could be exhaust temp sensors, MAF sensor, oxygen sensors for instance.. when the new dpf is fitted the ecm be told it has a new dpf fitted and also check the regeneration failed counter in data monitor if it's at 255 then the ecu should have the "after dpf regen" in work support carried out to reset the counter

Hi all I’m new on here so apologies if I have done this wrong I have a 2013 qashqai +2 1.5dci I have been having issues with an extreme lack of power on inclines it has been to the garage a number of times had the thermo plunger module replaced as a fault was logged for that still no different then the turbo was done still the same the the wiring loom that powers the thermo plunger was done as the plug was melted also a forced regen was done as there was a build up of soot in the dpf it has driven lovely for a week and now the issue is back I’m assuming the car isn’t performing a regen on its own any help would be gratefully recieved as it has turned into a bit of a money pit and not sure what else can be done

Welcome to this forum.

I'm no expert when it comes to diesels, but we often have similar problems being reported for the J10.
