Hello All,

I have just purchased this Qashqai 1.6D 2014 Automatic and am wondering what everyone thinks could be going on, it isn't the quickest to start but does start and drives however pull away is extremely hesitant and slow but once it peaks to a certain RPM range it then picks up and shoots off also between around 30-50mph when accelerating it judders pretty badly and sometimes when at a constant speed the revs drop down and up.

I have read the codes with a code reader and my mobile and have the following:

First thing I would do is delete all the codes, some may be historical and not pertain to your current problem. That would narrow down the scope and may make it easier to diagnose.

However from the list it would seem the ECU may be on the blink, it being the main denominator in most of the codes.

I also note you have an automatic, probably a CVT gearbox. The transmission fluid should be changed every 45-50k miles, that may need looking at if you are unsure if it has been changed, change it, main dealer rate is around £300 but I am sure it can either be done yourself or certainly a local garage could sort it.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.
