Rear propshaft
Having issues with rear propshaft seems like it's got something inside that's come loose, as it's selectable 4 wheel drive can I remove the shaft and still drive in 2 wheel mode or will it loose oil from the gearbox???

Welcome to this forum.
At this point I'll withdraw and wait for the techies to come along. I don't recall any discussion re propshafts before.

Removing a propshaft from either a gearbox or final drive will incur oil discharges. The open end should be plugged (rag or capped) which would prevent discharge or dust/particle entry.
