Hi, Booster pipe cracked a couple of miles from home yesterday with Red EML and two anti-skid Amber lights showing and down on power. Tested with Aldi code reader but no codes.
Replaced pipe today but red EML was still showing, I checked codes again, none showing but I did a delete anyway and red EML went out. Drove car this evening and red EML back on, did code check which showed P242F which I googled and found its connected to DPF?
Do I just need a garage to delete the red EML or did a DPF issue cause the boost pipe to crack?
Three weeks ago I drove to and from Scotland from south Wales, 700 miles, and I made sure I did 30 continuous minutes in 5th gear at 3200 rpm to clean the DPF so it shouldn't be blocked? Thanks.
Red EML after cracked booster pipe replacement.
