Are you sure or is it just dirty? (Es-tu sûr, ou c’est simplement sale ?) how many kilometers? (Combien de kilomètres ?) Maybe better to change it

J ai trouvé le qr code et je me rend compte que la référence ce termine part 87r et je lis plus bas que quelqu'un a le même sur un j12 donc plus récent donc je commence à avoir du mal à comprendre j ai 34000km et jamais vraiment u de soucis.. et je n entend rien sur les forums sur dacia et Renault qui on le même.. je suis de Belgique et énormément de qashqai 1.3 avec énormément de kilomètres en occasion à vendre et personne ne m entionne ce problème ..

Apparently, the issue concerns a batch of thermostat housings installed particularly on cars sold in the UK, although some cases have occurred in Spain, Italy, and Greece. As a precaution, it is better to replace it, especially if the model code is the original one. There are no reports of failures on the latest model (with the final part of the code 260R Renault/Nissan). For extra precaution, it’s advisable to add a DIY coolant level sensor, so you can stop the car in time if the thermostat breaks and the coolant leaks out, potentially causing engine problems. You shouldn’t have issues with that, but there is no information about the reliability of the one installed on your car. Apparemment, le problème concerne un lot de boîtiers de thermostat installés en particulier sur des voitures vendues au Royaume-Uni, bien que certains cas se soient produits en Espagne, en Italie et en Grèce. Par précaution, il est préférable de le remplacer, surtout si le code du modèle est celui d’origine. Il n’y a aucun rapport de pannes sur le modèle le plus récent (avec la partie finale du code 260R Renault/Nissan). Par mesure de précaution supplémentaire, il est conseillé d’ajouter un capteur de niveau de liquide de refroidissement fait maison, afin de pouvoir arrêter la voiture à temps si le thermostat casse et que le liquide fuit, ce qui pourrait causer des problèmes au moteur. Vous ne devriez pas avoir de problèmes avec cela, mais il n’y a pas d’informations sur la fiabilité de celui installé sur votre voiture. Serait-il bon de savoir le nom du fabricant comme inscrits sur tout les thermostat, moi sur mon thermostat c'est marqué magal.. mes pourtant ancien Qr code,87r fin de référence. maintenant Serait il plus judicieux de demander au personne concernée la marque du fabricant et voir le qu'elle revient plus souvent.. merci d avance

As a Renault technician told me, the previous version of thermostat is made by DAUPHINOISE THOMSON company, and the new version of thermostat is from the manufacturer MAGAL.

The two thermostat housings, apparently identical, are therefore produced by different companies. This is very interesting because most cases of failure have been reported in the UK and to a lesser extent in other countries. It could therefore actually be a batch of defective parts (adhesive). I have not yet been able to find information regarding failures of the new model, although those two pieces simply glued together still don’t give me peace of mind. If the Mercedes thermostat can be installed, I believe the problem would be definitively solved.
