Air filter problem

I purchased my j10 at 17000 miles at 22000 I had terrible dangerous lack of power ..would not pull at all until I coaxed it to say 50 mph and then we were off ..Traced to a blocked air filter which was pulled off its mounting by turbo suction at high rpm .( thumb hole made temparay cure)Now I notice on the J11 the filter service is 2 years ..36000 ...OH NO it will get changed with the oil and I advise you to do the same.

Just a quick glance under the bonnet and it seems a 4 year old could change tge air filter, but the oil filter? well im guessing it isn't a job for home diy. How the hell do you get at it? A recent post mentioned changing a fuel filter. Where is it and how easy a job is that?

Has anyone actually changed their air filter yet?
Just tried to buy one from Euro Carparts but they dont sell them!
If youve changed one, where did you get it from and how much?
I dont fancy ordering one from Nissan dealer and paying yhrough the nose for it.
