My opinion is the same as yours, hence my insistence they found me an empty one and filled it in retrospectively.
Mine came 6 march made in Feb and I got one ...maybe Lisa put car in for check without checking oil level first or have they just said this as they know these engines use oil...david

You get a copy of the service history printout at each service, which is just a list showing date, mileage, which service done, etc.

All of which is only ever going to be of use if you religiously take it to Nissan for each and every service as I doubt third party garages would be able to update Nissan's service record for your car.

(Although it seems they can, looking at this from Mercedes...)

Googling it appears to be common now, Audi, BMW, Mercedes all do it.

Chris, that seems a nice way to go providing you have access via electronic means which still a lot of people do not have. But that is a nice facility to be able to use - Download / Store / Save for personal reference - Nice Thanks Dave :D

I own a 15 plate Nissan Pulsar 1.2 DIG-T auto and it is booked in at Nissan for a full investigation due to excessive oil consumption.I have been monitoring this.
24,500 miles - full service
28,500 miles - 2 litres added
30,500 miles - 1.5 litres added
33,000 miles - 1.5 litres added
35,000 miles - 2 litres added
Total 7 litres added in 10,500 miles.
This can't be right and there is no evidence of any leak or smoke from exhaust.

Next time you park up, park with your wheels fully turned to the left. Then you can have a good peer behind your drivers side wheel and see the lower engine and sump tray.

I discovered there was oil all over mine as though it had been seeping out through the seal.

See picture in earlier post...
