SNAP! Yes that's my dealer to, they just said that the way it's meant to be! Crap really! Is your car new?
Mine was second hand, purchased end of March this year. I'm not local to the dealer but as it was a good price for a 64 reg I travelled up to purchase based on a telephone confirmation that the car was immaculate (the advertised pictures look like the car had been working a farm!).Got there and it was very clean, but not immaculate. Slight dissapointment in the overall buying process, but managed to get mats and full tank of fuel as well as a very cheap price.Got home and the next day I noticed I had the wrong service book (different reg), a 2-3 inch score on the windscreen just inside the drivers view (originally thought it was polish) and the front wheels were a matt black with the primer showing through in areas. Spoke to the salesman and followed it up with a letter to the site manager. Got a reply saying they would look into it an come back to me - they didn't. Sent a second letter but no response. Eventually I emailed the CEO of Westway, 20 mins later I had a phone call and it was arranged that they would come and collect the vehicle and resolve all the issues, which they have just done. The new general manager covering that site (and a few others I think) is Gary Piper. Very efficient and did keep me updated on progress. While they have fixed everything that was wrong (refurbished the fron t wheels and put in a new screen) I'm not sure I have confidence in them. The car was missing a load of updates and a recall that I had to get carried out by my local dealership. My car was owned by Westway as it belonged to one of their managers.

I have a 15 plate 1.5dci. After about 15 months and around 28k I noticed a judder when changing up. This occurred very occasionally, and in the gears 1-3. As time went on this problem became more frequent, and sometimes the juddering was quite violent. I had no idea what was going on at the time, and I was trying to identify specific circumstances under which this occurred. With hindsight I let this go on for too long before booking in to have the problem checked. Initially when the dealer investigated they could not replicate the problem, but eventually agreed there was something wrong. The car has now just gone in to be repaired, now with 47k on the clock, but although under warranty I have been told this is wear and tear and the cost is down to me. The cost including the dual mass flywheel is horrendous, and this has left me extremely disappointed and doubtful about buying another Qashqai.
Prior to this I had run a Focus from new for 16 years, and had the clutch replaced for the first time after 215k with minor slipping.

It will be the springs broken most probably, so it should be covered unter the warranty. Contact Citizens advice as its not a wear and tair issue.

My 360 1.5 dCi ( 13 plate, 40thou on clock) had change down judder which later became judder most of the time up or down changes. Dealer said they could find nothing wrong after 5 or more time of being left at the workshop, days at a time.. It became so bad that I took it to specialist garage for gearbox/clutches etc. They diagnosed DMF failure so went back to Nissan, still no joy. Nothing wrong they said, we have compared it with others, given it a thorough test drive, 5 miles along A50, so took it back to gearbox/clutch people and just told them to fix it. Low and behold the DMF had all but dis-integrated. They showed me before removal. Changed flywheel and clutch £850, all now ok. Very very disappointed with Nissan dealership.
