I had my 65 plate QQ 1.2 cvt in to day for the wheel arch protection recall and they (Nissan) did the ECM recall update as well. I have not noticed any difference on the way home?

Dealer updated ECM on my car with the latest version 23701-4EB9H and I noticed that the engine has no longer such power. I put my car on dyno and the results confirmed my concerns. R9M engine (1.6dCi) supposed to have power 96kW / 130PS. Dyno confirmed 85kW / 114.6PS. Was the patch 23701-4EB9H primarily issued to lower down NOx emissions? I guess so.

Hmm

That's not good.....
Is car still under warranty?

I would recommend you flag that with Nissan CS (though what was it making before the update, will be a challenge they will put to you)

That said, it should be closer to 130 whatever

Please let people know how you get on as this thread has a lot of hits from people researching on this issue (given how popular the QQ is)

Right
My car was in for 3 days to repair EGR pipe, a sensor and forced regen and oil change.
Got the phone call yesterday. "the car is ready " pull off the forecourt and onto the motorway
Guess what..... same problem.

Mad is an understatement
£700 lighter

My next call is taking the car back and demanding a refund. Solicitors trading standards and my finance company.

Was it tested on the same dyno just before the update? Unless a correction factor is applied to the dyno, the power at the wheels will always be far below the power at the flywheel. There are losses throughout transmission drivelines.
