I just have a new QQ DIG-T 1200.
Drives good. I just noticed a whining sound when driving 70-80 km/hr regardles of the gear (4th,5th or 6th).
When slowly decreasing or driving steady the sound is there. Goes away when depressing the clutch pedal or pressing the gas pedal.

Does anyone recognize this sound?

Hello Digt1200,
Yes, I have exactly the same, although on a 1.6 Dig-T. QQ registered Q4 2016. Just about 3.5k miles on the clock now, but whining present since delivery.
I too have gone through the various scenarios, accelerating, engage clutch etc. Whine presents itself only decelerating, any gear, any rpm 30-70 mph range. Whining ceases on application of accelerator, engage clutch or coast (no gear selected , clutch out).

I will get it into the Dealer network at some stage , but in the 6 months of ownership, I've had multiple warranty visits/repairs already,so trying to avoid another dealer visit unless absolutely must (as annoying as the gearbox whine is, it's not serious enough to take another day off work).

Question is if Nissan will be fixing this. They can say "normal behavior"...

So anyone else having this issue?
