The catalogue for earlier version of the Qashqai hardly mentions "DPF" at all.
No mention in Owner's manual either.

My last car a mini countryman S.D had this system fitted and I did short runs all the time and the oil lasted 2 years ...14.000 miles but I always drove at 2000 revs + so engine was always working to generate heat. Its a good system...
