Can anyone confirm the engine oil capacity in this model?

Thanks

Yes. I just thought I would then waste my time registering on an online forum to ask a question I already knew the answer to.

Now in all seriousness, no, I dont already know the answer. If I had found it in my manual, I wouldnt be here asking. I have used forums for a decade, and responses like this are exactly what puts people off using them.

Thank you Hound, very useful.

I notice it states "without diesel particulate filter", but I was sure this engine had a particulate filter?

I've never had a J10 so can't advise further. I guess no DPF warning light comes on briefly at ignition-on with the other check lights? Looks like it's just the spec of oil that's different rather than the quantity (it lists different types for with and without DPF). The *8 part by the slightly smaller capacities is for Euro 5 models, which is likely your type as you have a facelift, and probably has a DPF, but your dealer might be the best way to get final confirmation.
