I don't know about the petrol version but for the 1.6 diesel, Nissan recommends replacement at 180,000 miles or after 10 years. Generally they don't need changing as long as the tensioner is kept in good condition; a change now would give you peace of mind about the component for the rest of the vehicle's life - or at 10 years old you could say you'll take a chance and run it into the ground. Only you can decide!
