Hi
I have been suffering with the engine management light for the past few months, when I use my OBD2 scanner I am confronted with these codes:
It seems that my DPF is failing to re-generate, after clearing the codes the errors come straight back at me, I have seen from doing a search that this could possibly be due to faulty DPF sensors? I have a 2008 J10 QashQai Tekna 2.0 Diesel, I have also seen that the DPF was also an issue on this model, wish I had found this out before my purchase lol
To complement this issue, my cruise control has never worked properly, you can press the button and then the light just flashes on the dash and will not function, perhaps this is also linked with the DPF issue?
Has anyone managed to solve these issues?
Thanks
Ash
DPF?
I did a "find local service centre" on their website and there are none near me, I have also used 3 bottles of DPF cleaner which hasn't helped, I can see from previous paperwork that the DPF has been clogged before and a forced re-gen was carried out, this was only a few months ago! Are the DPF's on this car that bad? or perhaps its faulty sensors stopping the re-gen happening in the first place?
When you put the cruise control on and the little green light comes on do you click the set switch down? The set switch is located on the right hand spoke of the steering wheel.
