Hi,

I will have to store up my 2009 Mk1 Qashqai for some months in the future. I will attach a "battery tender" to the car before I leave to maintain the battery and keep the electronics and compute working.

My question is, how often should the car be started and driven while I'm away. I have been searching on line with this question and have had answers varying from every two weeks to "It can be left with battery tender for ever, as long as the tender does not pack up".

Anyone got a definitive answer to this question?

Regards, David Fayers

I know someone who stores his QQ without a tender but who simply pulls out the big white "fuse" which should be the "main".
