Hi!

I recently bought a Nissan Qashqai 1,6L petrol (2012 model) and notice a RPM at 3500 when drivning at the highway 120km/h(75 mph). The car has a 5-speed gearbox.

There is no engine-problem or engine-noise I am worried about, just thinking about the RPM.

Im just curious if this is a normal RPM at the 1,6L petrol engine. What RPM are your Nissan Qashqai running at When drivning the highway? (120kmh / 75mph).

Sounds about right for a petrol engine with 5 gears. I would only start worrying if the clutch starts to slip & your engine revs change at a constant speed.
