Is there an oil light that should light up in red when I start the ignition.
My oil level went down to less than a litre and I got no warning. EMS warning light kicked in only.

I think you need to read this Post which is very long 60 pages but has all the facts, try using the “Search” Area. The attachment is from Nissan, most people have learned or just out of habit to check the Oil regularly - Dave
