Kezza, if your only keeping the car for 3 years don't bother with the 6months oil change. Keep your money in your pocket.
1 question I have is that, do you need to service it just before you hand the car back? In theory, the car will only need 2 servicings if you own it for 3 years. 1st service at the start of year 2 & second at the start of year 3. What the dealer does when you hand it back within the 3rd year is up to them. Why would you want to pay for a service on a car that is not yours?
Just thought I would put that out there.

I seem to have started a debate that I didn’t intend - at least I am now clear that my three services will be performed yearly ( since I won’t drive 18k in a year), the first will be a minor then alternating. That will satisfy the warranty and lease requirements. I may also arrange a 6 month oil and filter change due to short commutes.
DAEWAR had that problem when handing back my MINI countryman .....garage done mot said two new tyres needed kwik fit said no..... car was going back in 5 days time lease company refused to pay .....car passed mot..david

Still investigating service plans - does anyone know about ( or have used) a company called eMac ? I was offered an eMac service plan via a Nissan dealer.
Does eMac service vehicles according to manufacturers service specification and do they use genuine manufacturer (Nissan) parts.
In short would this fulfill Nissan warranty terms and conditions - I’d hate to inadvertently invalidate warranty

Kezzaa, I think you need to play around on the web for information on EMaC. I took a look today and found some information that might be of interest to you, attached is a Nissan Service Plan Information (please Note it is from Ireland before the comments come) as the last comments are related to EMaC so it appears somehow this company are tied up with Nissan. I could not find this comment on the UK version - hope this helps Dave
Sorry to jump on. But I have the 1.5 e-power. And have done 10k miles. The service light has come on and after trying to book a service on my maintenance plan they are advising it doesn’t need service until 18k miles or 1 year. So why has the service light come on ??
Only just noted the dates on the original post lol
