Turbo blown & engine damage

All Qashqai Turbo's "whistle", it's normal. The old J10 1.5 K9K you could hear from miles away.
How would you describe your problematic whistle that distinguishes it from normal turbo whistle?

I had exactly the same thing happen to my 2015 Qashqai Tekna... what did you do with the car eventually, did you get it repaired and if so at what cots, or did you sell it?
