2007 1.5 dci leaky engine help!

My partner has bought the 2007 1.5dci j10 engine. When the engine cover is lifted, top right of the engine is leaking. Also behind the dip stick a sensor is leaking, would i be correct in saying that's the oil pressure sensor? ![Image]()
any help would be appriciated

Hi,
For a car of this age and if that's all the oil that's leaking I wouldn't bother doing anything of a mechanical nature. You're more likely to cause more issues when you disturb things. Now if you had a puddle of oil under the car, that would be another thing, but for a small amount of oil like that, I would use some solvent etc & just clean / wash.

Despite it running okay. I work on diesel locomotives from doing exams to engine rebuilds and id rather sort the leaking as that how ive always gone about things. I totally understand where your coming from as i used to have a vectra that was leaking minor and left it.
