Apologies if this has been covered but I've not spotted it.
2017 1.6 dCi engine, engine management light on.
Check shows it to be fault P0136 which won't clear.
It seems to translate to O2 sensor, Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Can anyone help with advice on this please?
Is it simply a replace the sensor option? If so, where on the system is it? Is it after the DPF?
Or does this typically indicate something else is amiss?
All help and advice gratefully received. Thanks
P0136 O2 sensor

Hi
I had an Oxygen sensor fail. Mine was replaced under warranty with no problems. As your Qq is 2017 it will still be under warranty so would let Nissan replace it for free.
Cheers

If thats a 2017 car what mileage has it done? It should be covered under warranty anyway as stated above. A sensor on my BMW would be changed at about 70k miles under scheduled maintenance...for example. Not found such procedure for Nissan.
Its positioned after the catalytic converter (downstream sensor) and is a check on the cats performance.
It maybe a connection wiring problem? Or sensor failure that needs changing and not expecting that really unless mileage very high.

Hi, I have the same fault code. The vehicle has done 81k. It's a 2016 1.6 diesel auto. Would mileage at 81k point to lambda sensor fault?

Quite possibly. Nissan does not provide detailed info in the way of preventative maintenance item changes. Seems they wait till failure and in this case O2 sensors perhaps. BMW on the other hand recommend change of the O2 sensor at 70k miles....routine. They don't wait for failure.
I don't have your diesel engine data so the closest I can get to the fault is here:
https://www.engine-codes.com/p0136_nissan.html
Which tends to indicate the rear O2 sensor...after the DPF
