Hi, I have a qq acenta prem ( diesel) 14 model. 6 mths ago received warnings on dash " auto/ start stop system fault '. + master warning symbol + engine chassis fault + malfunction warning light amber. After a diagnostic check by Nissan a new battery was fitted . Parking sensors stopped working so I switched them off . Car was fine until now. All previous messages / lights are back and mal warning light is red. Yet car seems to be driving fine . Confused ??

Hi, ref to your stop start are you doing short journeys with your QQ with stop start on i think its a pain i make a point of switching my off when starting first thing, over a period of time it will drag your battery down, when i purchased mine i started to get all faults showing just as you have had like wise i also replaced my battery since i have had no Further problems apart from the Connect 3 being Crap with its Firmware Fault which is in the Hands of Nissan

Give it a good charge and try driving with this 'driver aid' switched off. That's what an RAC fella recommended to me on my prior QQ.

Its a pain to have to do it every time i agree.

According to the book, the stop/start will not operate if the battery is low. Did they clear the faults when you took it in?

Ye thank you for all your replies much appreciated . As far as was told the faults were cleared. MY local AC dealer diagnosed it as glow plugs/ clogged pipe (carbon) and quoted me . Still confused as the glow plug warning light did not come on,and I've had no issues with starting, smoke etc car is driving fine seems more of an electrical issue however AC says it's a common prob with these cars, yet Nissan diagnosed battery initially . Confused
ye dragster been doing the same dis auto s/s, have had to dis park sensors too they not beeping

This is interesting, i am currently going through same scenario, i have so far replaced battery and same lights back on within 6 weeks, glow plugs being replaced today hopefully as a resolution. Did you get an outcome with yours?
