I bought a QQ 1600petrol, 2011 n tec manual from a car dealer 14/5/2019, new mot
since then I have had to have 2 new tyres
new alternator
recharge air con revealed need new condenseur
so far spent over 1000
This week it has started making a noise when you slow down not so much with brakes but just changing gear and allowing car to slow down.
Mechanic thinks it may be gearbox issue
So off to main dealer tomorrow to see what they think.
Husband who has always tinkered with cars says it doesn't sound like a gearbox noise
I have contacted the trading standards and then spoke to the garage who started by saying, no nothing to do with us.
I explained what trading standards have said about fit for purpose and that I have only done 2000 miles in 3 months.
Anyone else has transmission noises when slowing down?
any advice would be welcome and would you carry on driving?

Presumably the tyres would have been obvious when you bought it?

Did you not even have a minimal 3 month guarantee? I presume the original seller refused to replace the alternator and condensor?

Not sure what the noise is.
