Hi !
My name is Maxim. I'm from Russia and I bought Qashqai J11 in 2014.

Months ago CVT was broken. Shoves began.
Dealer took off the tray of CVT and said: "Oy, you need new CVT". By the way it coast is about 5K $ (306K rub)
I like my J11, but I can't understand Nissan why it sets such shit like Jatco JF016e in its cars???
When I bought car Nissan (dealer) said: OUR NEW CVT IS MODERN, SAFETY!!!

AND what??? I use it carefully. It used as family car. Not races, not off roads. I changed NS-3 in 30000 kilometers. And I drove only 60500 kilometers! 60500 kilometers for 6 years!!! And Nissan said on it: Ops, it has happened)))))

That is all you need to know about Nissan company)) No help, no regret))

Guys I need your help, especially owners of J11 2.0 LE+ (2014)

It is said that JATCO JF016e of 2014 year had a defect. This defect improves by updating software of CVT’s control unit (31036-4EM1B, 31036-4EM1С).

Do you know something about it? OR may be there was some service company from Nissan?

AND sorry for me English)))

Welcome to this forum.

The CVT box on a J11 Qashqai is known to be a big problem, not just on a 2014 model. You should be able to find more info here by searching.

You will find info on it but most people here are in the UK and we don't have the 2 litre engine. The box might be the same though.

MAX D, welcome to the Forum from Berlin. These Jatco (Nissan) CVT Gearboxes have been having problems for years and so much so that in the US they were given a 10 year Guarantee. I have attached a Post which might help and if you use the “Search” Area there are more, you just have to play with the subject name - Dave 😉
Now in the QQ the Renault DCT 7 Speed Auto Box is Installed no CVT !

US related info’ : “Nissan CVT issues are common among Nissan vehicles. ... Nissan extended the warranty on some of these vehicles equipped with the CVT transmission from 5 years or 60,000 miles to 10 years or 120,000 miles. The extension covers repairs, replacements, and towing for issues related to the continuously variable transmission.”
