Accelerator delay

I have a TS diesel CVT auto. About once or twice a day, the accelerator has a delay of about 5 secs before the car accelerates (long enough for other drivers to honk). It only occurs when taking off from a stop. I have tried resetting the accelerator and the computer. It is not logging in a fault with the computer.

If I remember correctly CVT gearboxes have had difficulties with control software...or the combination of software and related hardware. There is what you might call "dithering" in certain instances and often at stationary lift off. i'd say you would need to ask a Nissan dealer whether any software has been updated that might reduce this issue. There is danger attached of course.
