Hello,
I have recently brought a 62 plate Nissan Qashqui that has done 80,000 miles. Lovely car to drive, however it has an intermittent starting problem.
The car always starts when the engine is cold (first thing in the morning) & also when then engine is hot (when i pop into the petrol station). The problem seems to come when i have driven a 10 mile plus journey and then parked up for around 30 mins. When i try and start the car when the engine is in this lukewarm stage it wont start at all. The engine ticks over, however it will not start. Even if you try and jump start the car with jump leads the car will not start. The only way to fix this issue is to wait around 1 hour for the engine to cool right down and then it starts first time again Confused This issue has happened to me around 6 or 7 times over the last 2 months
The car has been into Nissan for a full diagnostic test and they have advised me after 4 days that they can't seem to find a fault with the car (which is incredible frustrating)
Has anyone ever experienced something similar to this? Or have any advise on what i should do?
