I have heard from a dealer (my own one still not come back to me!) It appears it was a carwow error, Tekna trims can be still ordered if you order today ETA January 14.

I think manual are preferred in UK as also quite a jump in price for CVT version. We have ordered CVT as works better with driving assistant.

The demo car we tried was storm white with black roof tekna but they put the 20inch Tekna plus wheels on it as as Tekna plus owner didn't want them it was a manual. To try an CVT they only had Tekna plus trim so again 20 inch wheels. Just hope it rides better on 19s.

This is interesting. I've not seen the colour pearl white on the Nissan configurator. Is that just another name for storm white?

I think Nissan may have it wrong themselves?

It's definitely coming up as "Pearl White":

Presumably they mean Storm White?

Note they've also said "Pearl Back" there!

But then the UK brochure also has "COLORS" !?!?!

Really weird !
There are no Magnetic Blue / Black roof Tekna + cars available anywhere, only Tekna !
Tekna + trim : only 8 out of +330 cars ... maybe all those dealership 'demo' models, so ever tailor made ???
This seems strange to me since that combination is what was showcased almost everywhere, in every road test as well.
Most probably this magetic blue is too popular so that it all selss out almost immediately when in stock or ... can there be another reason like not yet produced :?:
Also, it seems more cars with a CVT are still available compared to MT6 transmission ... again ... were more cars with a CVT produced or is a car with a MT still far more popular in the UK !?

I pondered doing an analysis of the numbers against the spec but decided there were too many variables to get any decent conclusion.

What surprised me was the number of N-Connecta 4x4 cars apparently available considering the 4x4 has in the past been a pretty unpopular option.

To give an example, if one looks at 2020 Qashqais for sale at Autotrader, one find there are 319 cars available - but of those only EIGHT are 4x4. And of those 3 are N-Connectas, 2 are Teknas and 3 are Tekna+s.

I think you are correct Nissan have screwed up - Storm White ?, I nearly posted these earlier today from Nissan UK & Germany which I used for our quotation. We had a QQ J11A in “Pearl White QAB” and I have now the quotation in front of me also stating “Pearl White”. It’s a “Pearlescent White and actually Glitters in the sunshine. It’s the QAB or XDF that are the important No’s for ordering single or two colors - Dave 😉

I just was on a chat to Nissan UK and storm white is the pearl colour. Pearl white isn't available on J12 cars and is a different paint code. You can have pearl black.

I am getting more and more confused as the Nissan Pearl White has always been “QAB” Color Code and now the UK Color is called Storm White QAB, so in my opinion the color is the same but different terminology / names - Dave 🥴
As long as I get in the end the QAB Color, whatever the name it will do me 😃

These are the Nissan Finland Colors for example :

….

I have been speaking to my local dealer today and the salesman told me that there are very very few pre-built Qashqais available. Almost all the pre-built cars where they guessed what specifications and colours people might prefer are sold.
Soon, they will practically be built "to order" i.e. on receipt of a deposit.

I take that with a healthy pinch of salt but it could well be true if you want a Visia or Tekna+.
My current car took a long time to be delivered as I wanted the specific colour and gearbox.

At least you can be confident that your shiny new car hasn’t been sitting in a field for a few months !!

Indeed MikeGC, I am will quite sure my Tekna+ will have to be built "to order" because I ordered some additional accessories together with it.
It sure might take more time and if your dealer is right that they might only start now with those 'ordered' cars then I might be in for a long wait still !
