Qashqai Model: Mk.2 Qashqai - J11 (2013–2017)

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong section but just a quick question,

i have a Qashqai 2017 with around 57k on the clock,
when ever i seem to reach around 40mph i can hear a rattling noise a bit like a window rattle,

it doesn't seem to be engine related that i can tell, maybe I'm wrong?
when i rev the engine the rattle does not happen,

that's why i feel it could be something rolling around somewhere but just wanted to know if anyone has had any similar experience's?
and if so can shed any light on this?

its up to date with all its services, passed Mots etc and a well looked after car.

thanks again :)

Welcome to the forum.

Various rattles I have suffered:-
parcel shelf not seated properly
seat belt buckle bumping against door trim

Haven’t come across anything like yours.
Does the rattle stop when you go faster than 40 ?

Good Luck

As you think its the windows. Put your windows down and try driveing around and see if you can hear the rattle then

Unfortunately it's difficult for members/owners to diagnose and indeed offer correct help to fix your annoying rattle.
As Andy suggested, start with the window.
In the past I have removed all four door cards to eliminate squeaks/rattles. Although time consuming (15 minutes or so) I would advise if you do, purchase new door card fasteners, I got a few packs from EBay, the ones with the neoprene cushion backing as this stops the creaking.
I would also advise you to purchase a few metres of adhesive felt strip, I added strips of this to places where plastic meets plastic, also useful to add a little extra depth to the window wiper (the felt strip that cleans the window of debris when the glass is lowered)
Unfortunately the Qashqai is flawed with rattles, dash, radio/climate control panel, centre console, climate control vents, glove box, rear parcel shelf etc, etc, etc.
After a couple of £ spent on items from EBay and a couple of hours work our 2018 QQ is completely silent, even in Winter when all of the contact surfaces shrink due to the cold temperature.
Plenty of folks on here to offer their advice, I'm hoping that you will fix your annoying rattle.
