Qashqai - J11b Inner Rear Light Removal

Anyone know how to remove the Mk.2 Qashqai Facelift - J11b (2017–2021) Inner rear light cluster? I got all the way in the back of the unit and removed three bolts holing the units in but there seems to be some kind of clip holding it in still. Do I have to remove the rear cover containing the number plate light and rear camera just to get this out? Can’t find any YouTube or anything on the web on this and feel like I must be the only idiot to break an inner light. Thanks

Are you trying to get to the number plate lights. Or middle Brake light .

Yes, you have at least to loosen the rear cover since the cluster is extended under the cover into a plastic tab.

The inner rear Break/parking light is what I am trying to remove and replace

Right thanks that is what I thought, it’s extended under the cover. Cheers will give that a go. They don’t make it easy
