FIRMWARE VERSION

Hello everyone,
I have just bought and received a new SD card in version V7, but my LCN3 console (QQ J11 2016) restarts from time to time, do you think this is because of the firmware which is too old, I am in version D302. Thanks in advance

Has the restarting happened since buying the new card or was it doing this prior?

Either way, it definitely sounds like you're on outdated firmware so would definitely look to update it either yourself or via a dealer. There's plenty of useful guides and a link to download the newer firmware in this thread if you fancied doing it yourself.

Hello and thank you CM 24 for your answer, yes it only reboots with the card in version 7, with version 6 I don't have this problem. I have the files for the new D605 firmware, but I'll wait until I get back from vacation before updating. Thank you

Could be the case, heard it before. Iff you bought the map sd card at a dealership go them and ask iff they want to upgrade the system because your maps dont work correct now.

Otherwise try the upgrade proces yourself, read up about it in this topic how to.

I've had D605 installed a few years now, but for some reason my screen on startup now says "insert update media" and I can't find the one I downloaded back then.

I’ve recently bought myself a 2010 J10. All was well only till recently as my LCN1 keeps turning off after a minute or two after use. It even has some weird situations where the unit has turned off (by itself), the keys are out of the ignition and yet the radio is still playing. All very odd behaviour and I’m assuming its because of the software version I’ve got (Software 0219_090708).

Looking around it seems like LCN1_FieldFix_E604 is the latest version for an LCN1. Would anyone be so kind as to share a link to the firmware please? I’ve looked and I was unable to find it online.

don`t think you`ll get any updates for that i`m afraid your best bet is to get a 2nd hand unit from scrapyard etc
