Towing with 1.5dci

Hi all. Just wondering whether anyone has used their Nissan Qashqai 1.5dci 108bhp for towing a caravan? I would be interested to know how it pulls before deciding whether to purchase a caravan. Many thanks.

I think you may have to purchase a small 2 berth van to keep within the towing limits of the car. I drive a 1.6 diesel and towed my 1300kg van with ease, but I know the older 1.5's could not legally tow my van. I think you would be looking at maximum 1200kg caravan for your car, but do check in your handbook.
Past cars Mercedes B Class, S Class, E Class Estate, E Class Coupe, G Wagen, 260E interspersed with Peugeot 406 and Audi Coupe.
