Car now waiting to be called into body shop, following a minor collision when it was parked up unattended when somebody misjudged the entry into the next parking bay and collided with the front offside corner (bumper and wing). Fortunately, I knew the person and he did come in and tell me. It doesn't look much, but the quote for repair is £3600. His insurers have agreed with mine and there will be no cost to me (thankfully).

Just hope they don't try loading the renewal premium next January!!

If you have any questions or concerns about your insurance, it might be a good idea to speak with them directly.

You are replying to a 6 month old post, suspect it has been sorted out long ago.

It's fortunate that the person who collided with your car was honest about it, and even better that both insurance companies have agreed to cover the repair costs. It's always a relief when these things get sorted out without any financial impact on you.
