Hi folks,

A kind "person" seems to have put a tow ball into the front bumper of my 2017 QQ (1.6dci tekna).

Trying to work out how to go about replacing it... Initially thought was that it was just the black plastic lower I had to replace and wouldn't be bad, but on closer inspection I think I'm wrong? And it'll be a full change of the front and a trip to the paint shop?

Any help/advice (is this an insurance job?)

Thanks,

Chris

Whole bumper i'm afraid it is. and a pre-owned one will set you back £200+.
I would be tempted just to get some black filler. Your lucky it didnt damage the sensor

Or you could consider a SMART REPAIR.

Although this is video is showing how to fix bumper scratches, if your damage is not overly deep or pierced the plastic a good body shop could help?, or if you're pretty handy with filler/J-B weld, sand paper and a rattle can could be something worth trying before considering purchasing a new/second hand bumper.
