Hi, Did any of you guys get to the bottom of the problem with the emissions?

Looking to pick up a used 2019 1.6 QQ tomorrow and can see some emissions failures on last 2 MOTs. Concerned they just reset the ECU as per previous post just to get it to pass without actually diagnosing and fixing the problem.

Wondering if there is something more sinister going on with the engine.

Should I avoid?

Hoping you guys say it was an easy fix like a sensor or something.... Be grateful for any feedback.

Thanks.

A year later I'm back to say my car has failed again on emissions! Now the 3rd year in a row. I've always used the same Nissan main dealer garage so they have all the history. This time they said it might be the cat, but in the end they did a 'system update' and that rectified the problem.
I just do not understand how for the past 3 years my car fails, they do a system update and it then passes the emissions test. Unfortunately, I know nothing about cars, but this doesn't seem right to me.
