Has anyone ever seen this code before? I've googled everywhere and struggling to find anything for Nissan, only Ford.

2012 1.6 DCi Qashqai, initially the code that came up was for turbo boost sensor so we've replaced that and now the above code has appeared along with "manufacturer control"

Greatly appreciate any info before we take it into a garage and start paying fortunes chasing error codes around the car :lol:

I have been thru a set of generic codes for the Qashqai 1.5 DCi, a list of specific Nissan codes for the car and the workshop manual codes and I cannot find P1016 referenced anywhere.

Yep I was just as confused and glad it's not just me that cannot find it. Will see if I can find someone else with an ODB tool to check it's not mine having a fit, although it's been working fine as far as I know. Cheers for looking!
