Hi all, new to this forum, but hoping someone can help us out with some advice.

I’ve noticed a connector is getting too heated. It will cut power to the car randomly.
Ive attached a photo, it’s the grey connector as you can see it’s bubbled.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Cheers

Not to sound stupid but how would I check that?

Is that when the dash light goes of?

It’s the grey connector and it’s bubbled up.

Do you have problems starting car . On your batt you have a little red plastic bung still in that needs to taken out i think you will find it's a breather hole for batt may be one on other side too

Ah didn’t even notice, would that cause it to overheat. Sometimes it does struggle to start up

I’ve taken that 1 out as there wasn’t another of the other side.
It’s getting hold of a replacement connector.
Think a trip to scrapyard is needed.

Thanks Andy
