Rear driver side door

Hi Folks

Wife informed me that rear driver side door will not open from inside. I checked to see if child lock was on but it wasn't.

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what was their solution?

It’s likely to be a broken connection inside the door.
As a total mechanical/DIY numpty I would be looking for a reputable, recommended local garage to get to the bottom of the problem

Just yesterday the front passenger door on our 2020 N-Connecta failed and cannot be opened from inside = very annoying as I now have to keep going around and opening the door for the "boss". Fortunately I have an extended warranty and so I am hopeful of Nissan repairing this without charge. I have it booked in on Monday for them to investigate as they always seem to say so we will see what happens

How easy is it to replace cable? Have watched videos on youtube about removing door card but can't seem to find anything about replacing/repairing cable.

Faulty/failing door lock actuator guy's.

Door works perfect with external handle and locks/unlocks with key fob. What makes you think it is a faulty/failing actuator?

First hand experience. I've had three replaced, luckily all under warranty.

Nissan Chesterfield have just confirmed that its the door lock actuator thats failed on my front passenger door. Will be replaced tomorrow once authorised by WarrantyWise.

Actuator cable replaced and door fixed. Warranty covered the full invoice for £240+ so all good for now. Most of that bill was for labour
