Heating Controls

23 reg Tekna question. When I unlock and open the door the bottom row of buttons on heater/blower panel illuminates but then goes of. So clearly the bulbs/fuses are fine.
Thereafter no matter which buttons I press I can never get them to light up and it’s almost impossible to see which button is which.
Is there possibly some setting that I am unaware of?
I have read the manual but there is no reference to illumination issues.

Do they not light up when you got your headlights on ?

Thanks for the reply Andy. No they don’t come on with the headlights on. But if they did I would be more concerned that you can’t tell what’s what in daylight.

Is there no dash brightness button on your qashqai

There is a brightness button but it only affects the screen behind the steering wheel.
